Guide to Health and Social Services

The Tuscany Region has developed helpful tools to guide health and social services for the migrant population and to provide support to the Tuscan Health System service providers. The Centre for Global Health aims to list such projects of integration between health and social policies, which are active in the region and addressed to the migrant population.

The material is produced in the Tuscany Region in collaboration with the Federation of Italian paediatricians, Semi Association for SIDS, and the AOU Meyer breast milk bank. The content of the case is translated into languages that are most common among migrants to Tuscany.

CONTRACT – AGAINST TRAFFICKING IN TUSCANY

Contratto_logo Through regional coordination, Tuscany has set up “a regional system against the trafficking of human beings”, a system that consolidates and plans all interventions in support of the victims of trafficking and exploitation, enhancing and creating partnerships with all public and private social services, which in previous years have nevertheless guaranteed an adequate response in their specific territories.
